Whishper Has Lost Its Domain, and the Project Is Frozen
The address whishper.net no longer belongs to the open-source transcription project. It now serves an unrelated affiliate blog with articles on proxy providers and development consultancies, and the repository has repointed its own documentation link to a different host. The project itself is frozen by its author's notice that the current branch will receive no further releases, and the rewrite branch that notice pointed to was itself abandoned in mid-2025. The last release was September 2024. The code remains available under AGPL-3.0 for anyone who wants to self-host or fork it.
